Attendance and Absence Policy
Qimam Al-Mahara Training Center
1. Attendance Commitment
Attendance in training programs—whether conducted in-person (on-site) or virtually through online platforms—is a fundamental obligation for all trainees. Synchronous online attendance is treated equivalently to physical attendance in terms of calculation, monitoring, and compliance.
Qimam Al-Mahara Training Center is committed to accurately recording and monitoring trainee attendance, lateness, and absence for every training session, in accordance with the following regulations:
2. Attendance, Lateness, and Absence Regulations
Late Attendance:
A trainee shall be considered late if they join the training session more than ten (10) minutes after its official start time.
Partial or Full Absence:
A trainee shall be considered absent if their attendance does not exceed 30% of the total session duration.
Maximum Allowable Absence:
If a trainee's absence—whether excused or unexcused—exceeds 25% of the total approved training hours of the course, the Center reserves the right to terminate the trainee's enrollment and consider them withdrawn from the program.
Trainee Responsibility:
Each trainee bears full responsibility for monitoring their attendance record and accumulated absence hours, as well as any consequences such as warnings or deprivation from completing the course in accordance with the Center's regulations.
3. Submission and Approval of Excuses
Absence excuses must be formally submitted to the Admissions and Registration Department or the Trainee Affairs Unit for review and verification.
Only force majeure excuses supported by official documentation will be considered and will be subject to evaluation by the designated Excuses Committee.
No excuse will be accepted if submitted more than one week from the date of absence.
4. Attendance Requirements for Online and Blended Training
For programs delivered through asynchronous e-learning or blended learning formats that exceed one month in duration, trainees must attend a minimum of 25% of the scheduled synchronous training hours to fulfill attendance requirements.
5. Submission Channel for Excuses
All absence excuses and supporting documents must be sent to the Center's official email address:
